Prior to the Ironkids (and Ironman) events over the weekend, Alaska Milk and Sunrise Events President and CEO Wilfred Steven Uytengsu came up with a side event called the Alaska Run Out where the Alaska IronKids participants as well as the Ironman pros and other competitors went to Punta Engano Elementary School and promoted the value of well-balanced lifestyle for kids of today.

“Alaska IronKids is all about adopting a healthy lifestyle. Children have fun as they swim, bike and run. We are also advocating the Gatas for Breakfast campaign. I invite everyone here to start the day with exercise and then have that healthy breakfast which includes Alaska Milk. You will grow strong and healthy. One day soon I hope you may even be part of the Alaska IronKids or even race in the Ironman,” said Uytengsu to the hundreds of students and teachers of the school.
